Project Logistics entail a specified time frame, and often requires unique coordination with your customers to ensure project success. MMT provides a turnkey solution managing everything from start to finish.
Cross-Border Logistics covers shipments between the MMT' operational countries. These shipments require special detail and MMT is up to the task. We handle all the specifics including insurance and transloading while working with customs companies to ensure requirements are met at both origin and destination countries.
MMT began more than 40 years ago when founder and current Director Mohamood Mohamed started the company with one truck which he drove himself through central and east Africa for most of the 80’s. The company slowly grew, and had four trucks by 1990. Mr. Mohamood was a very hand’s on manager, and micro-managed every aspect of the companies operations, including repairs and maintenance of the trucks.
Today, the company has more that four hundred trucks (400+), with seventy percent of its fleet less than five years old.
The company has more than five hundred employees and the red and white colors on its trucks are known all over central and east Africa as Tanzania’s best transporter.
